- Low Row (cable machine) - 60lbs - 3 sets of 8 repetitions
Chest:
- Flat Bench Press (olympic Bar + weights) - 65lbs - 5 sets of 5 repetitions
- Incline Dumbbell Press - 20lbs each hand - 3 sets of 8 repetitions
Abs:
3 sets of 30 crunches on the ab machine (lying down)
3 sets of 15 hanging leg lifts
Calves:
Standing Calf raises - 3 sets of 20 (no weights)
Standing Calf raises - 3 sets of 20 (no weights)
That summed up tonight's workout. very much needed! :) Hope you all have a great weekend! Any plans for the Holiday weekend?
I've been reading a lot about your gym tips and I've been working out (mostly cardio) at the gym and I was wondering if your back exercises help to improve posture? Sorry, it's totally random from your post :p
ReplyDeleteHi there! :) I think definitely working out your back can help improve posture. I think unless you have a medical condition that impairs your posture (for example scoliosis) then working out your back may not be best.
ReplyDeletebut i believe it's the muscles in your back that are charge of your posture. so strengthening them can definitely be improved with exercise. but i think for any posture problems - you definitely would like to start by exercising your core (abs) as those are the key to your posture as well. :) hope i was a bit helpful :D
