Review :: Diet Pepsi's new Skinny Can - Get into the 'Skinny'

I had the amazing opportunity to try out Pepsi's newest creation. the Pepsi Skinny Can said to be out this coming March.

It is described with its light, crisp taste, Diet pepsi gives you all the refreshment you need, now in an attractive new can - with zero sugar, zero calories and zero carbs.

So i wanted to share my experience with the new Skinny cans and get you ready to get in the skinny too!

so yes the cans are quite skinnier than regular soda's. the new skinny can, can fit almost anywhere. in your purse on the go. when you drink it you have nothing to worry about if you're on a diet as it has zero sugar, zero carbs, zero calories. it doesn't get better than that!

as for taste, it tastes just as described..light and crisp, very refreshing and also makes me feel good knowing that it's zero sugar, zero calories and zero carbs!

Packaging: 4/5
I have to work with what i was given.. but pretty much the packaging came as is so.. just 4 skinny bottles together.. i like how sleek and tall the soda can was compared to its shorter fellow soda. i must say i am not too keen with drinking diet sodas, but this one does the job.

Quality: 3.5/5
the soda itself is decent, like i said i'm not an avid soda drinker. i love the concept that it has no carbs, sugars and calories. i am not an avid soda drinker, but i must say that, it would be nice to have more flavor in this drink and still keep the zero calories, zero carbs, zero sugars...

Usage: 4/5
it was common sense on how to use/open a can. but once you got it open, you drank a sip and you just felt energized for another task at hand. no issues on this area. I must say that this fit in a lot more places because it was thinner than the shorter wider can.

Overall: 4/5
since i'm not really an avid soda drinker per say, i dont think i would intentionally pass on this item. I think the fact that it has zero calories, zero sugar and zero carbs makes me want to reach for this more than your average pepsi, coke, mountain dew etc... i definitely like taste the light and crisp taste of the original diet pepsi, at the same time, i am totally feeling the new design. i feel a lot of those ladies who will be watching their bodies but still love soda will keep enjoy this soda with the piece of mind that this probably won't do much damage if at all on their current diet.

i would recommend this to those that want to try a diet pepsi soda in a new "skinny can" ... and have the piece of mind that you don't have to compromise taste when your on a diet. also for those that already love diet soda's definitely would recommend this to you too!

Keep your eyes out at your local market for the newest skinny cans! :)

** Just a note - NO this product will not make you lose weight. it is not a substitute for being on a diet. please consult your physician before thinking about going on a diet **

Review :: Knife and Fork Lift :: Turn eating into exercise!

I was given an opportunity to review the products from http://www.knifeandforklift.com/

and let me tell you, when i got the products, i honestly laughed out loud a bit.. because they just look hilarious! but after using them.. well i had to stop while eating because they got really heavy and really did make eating into an exercise! lol..

the website describes the product:
"THE PRODUCT
Knife and Fork Lift™ is a combination of utensils and dumbbells that serve as a constant reminder that eating puts weight on and requires exercise to take it off. Lifting food with these utensils is like doing curls with dumbbells. Weight: 1.5 lbs each. Height: 9""

Okay, so i know you're all probably thinking.. um khristine - they are only 1.5lbs each.. well yes they are.. but having to use them (and i eat slow haha) lactic acid starts building up and they tend to start feeling really heavy about midway though my meal - cutting steak/chicken started to really become a mini-workout LOL..

i showed this to my brother and his girlfriend, who were actually quite amused with the product! i think it'd be a great gift for someone who's states they are wanting to start going on a diet, or eating healthy, or start exercising! LOL this is a perfect gift!

the set for the fork and knife is $39.95 + shipping, and i just checked on their website - they have just added a spoonlift!

and they sell that separately for $14.95 all in USD. you might want to check their website to see their official rates and shipping faq's.

Packaging 4/5
it came in a fitted box wrapped in bubble wrap. nothing really fancy - but they were quite heavy together..

Quality 3/5
these are quite sturdy for what they are, but the little bottom part kept coming off, it wasn't hard to fix, but it was rather annoying.. otherwise - sturdy and does the job.

Usage 4/5
pretty self explanatory - use like any regular eating utensil - just a bit heavier after awhile! but totally worth the workout! haha

Overall 4/5

this is a great gift idea for a friend or family member that you think might enjoy this - as a motivating/start off point to diet/get into exercising lol.. or heck even a gag gift for a friend/family member (because that's what my brother and his gf thought this might be a really good gift for)..

i don't use this all the time though to be honest, but when i do, i try to really use it for the whole meal.. if i'm being real lazy - i'll switch to regular utensils.. but often times i lose my appetite haha - so i guess it does work in supressing your appetite and prevent you from over eating!

if you do decide to get this - let me know what you think! I'm always curious to see if my reviews help/not help in purchasing something!
