Gym Session :: 06/28/2012


So I took yesterday off from the gym since I had so much school work and had to study for my test (today wahhh!).. so I made sure to work my tail off today! Cannot believe that I have 24 days left in the Elite Ambition Challenge!! 


this workout is dedicated to my legs, glutes and calves! :D

**Super Set
- Seated Leg Curl
40lbs x 15
40lbs x 15 
40lbs x 15
- Barbell Lunge
30lbs x 15
30lbs x 15
30lbs x 15

**Super Set
- Stiff-Legged Barbell Deadlift (My fave)
I know this is supposed to be light, but I couldn't help myself.. missed lifting heavy LOL so this was "light" for me..
135lbs x 12 
135lbs x 12 
135lbs x 12 
- Double Bounce into Plie Squat (really worked my glutes and inner thighs)
3 sets of 15 reps
3 sets of 15 reps
3 sets of 15 reps

- Lying Leg Curls
40lbs x 20 (My legs are mush at this point)
40lbs x 20
40lbs x 20
** After each set I did Mountain Climbers
3 sets of 20 reps
~~ immediately after the mountain climbers I went back into the lying leg curls and repeat!

** Triple Set:
- Standing Calf Raises
90lbs x 20
45lbs x 15 (Big Drop set, because my calves were going to explode lol)
45lbs x 15
-- Seated Calf Raise
25lbs x 20
25lbs x 15
25lbs x 15
--- Jump Rope
3 sets of 1 minute
** I did these one right after the other, then after jump roping I took a 2 minute rest and then started over..


It was a super quick workout, but I'm glad I was able to push through it.. Now it's time for me to get ready to school and hopefully do well on my math test! Wish me luck! tomorrow's workout will be Shoulders, Triceps, Calves and Cardio!
